The Eagles lone win came from sophomore Owen East at #2 Singles with two tie-break wins in sets two and three. Our #1 doubles team of juniors Jon Kirchoffer and Sawyer Gore had a very competitive match but fell just short. In an exciting match at #3 singles sophomore Trevor Shields came up a little short in the third set tie-break. At #1 singles, junior Jack Sichting played one of the best players we will see all season in Martinsville's Nate Viewegh. This was a great first match for the eagles and they were very competitive although they start each match down 0-1 due to our small numbers.
