Brown County 0 Northview 5 SIngles #1 Singles - Christian Roembke (N) def Owen East (BC) 6-2, 6-2 #2 Singles - Drew Cook (N) def Trevor Shields (BC) 6-1, 6-0 #3 Singles - Brayden Goff (N) 1-0 Doubles #1 Doubles - Caden Schrader/Hunter Johnson (N) def Jack Sichting/Sawyer Gore (BC) 6-0, 6-1 #2 Doubles - Nicholas Kaufman/Josh Fowler (N) 1-0 The already short-handed Eagles, had to play with on less today and were defeated by the Northview Knights. With a line up switch, sophomore Owen East was asked to play at #1 singles and he played great. He had solid shots all day and might have even surprised himself. Fellow sophomore, Trevor Shields played at #2 singles and really played a solid match. Our usual #1 singles player, junior Jack Sichting paired with junior Sawyer Gore. This new duo was fun to watch, and had some really exciting points. It was evident that the Eagles were playing in the fourth match in six days, there were points that we were a little slow to get to. The Eagles will get some needed rest as they will not play again until Thursday when they travel to Bedford North Lawrence. Coach Roush Record 1-3, (WIC 0-2)
