Brownstown was the winner with 11 points and WIC team, Greencastle with 9 points for second place. Southwestern finished in fourth place. The Eagles placed two teams in the finals but were defeated. #1 singles player Jack Sichting defeated his Southwestern opponent only to lose a tough match in the finals. His game continues to improve and he is leading this team. Our #1 doubles team of juniors, Sawyer Gore and Jon Kirchoffer won their first round to get their first victory of the season. At #2 singles sophomore Owen East fought a really tallented opponent and lost a very tight third set supper tie break. He did bounce back and win his consolation round. The Eagles gear up for a very busy week with four matches over the next seven days. Next match for the Eagles will be on Monday as they travel to Frankin High School. Coach Roush Record 2-6 (WIC 0-2)
