Brown County Athletics

To say that the Brown County Boys Tennis team is young, might be understating it. The team of eleven players is made up of one junior, five sophomores, and five freshmen. Junior Jax Burt will take over the reins as the team captain and potentially play one of our number one spots. Jax has worked very hard this summer to improve his game and his leadership skills will be vital to the development of this young team. Sophomores, Audric Dunn, Jack Keener, Jax Anderson, Logan Peck and newcomer Diesel McMillion all figure to play important roles as this team begins its pursuit of a Western Indiana Conference (WIC) title. It is great to see five freshmen join the eagles squad. The freshmen joining the eagles are Bryan Teague, Nolan McFall, Nicklaus Arndt, Tyler Webb, and Bennett Still. This group is bringing a great deal of success from their middle school days and Coach Roush will rely heavily on that experience as this team begins to find its personality and gain valuable experience as the season progresses.. There is one thing for certain that this group of eleven young men will be expected to uphold the ideals that have been the hallmark of Brown County Tennis; competitiveness, sportsmanship, and integrity.
