The match started late due to a lightning delay. The Eagles were a little sluggish to start and it took a little bit for them to find their groove. Nolan McFall and Jack Keener, playing at #1 doubles came away with a well earned victory, coming back in the second set to force a tie break that they easily won (7-2). This win would help inspire #3 singles player, Bryan Teague to also come back in his second set and also play a tiebreak which he won (10-7) to win his individual match. #1 singles player Jax Burt settled in after his first set to a 2-2 set score before the second lightning delay forced a stoppage of play. Unfortunately this took away his momentum resulting in a 3-6 final set. #2 singles player Audric Dunn had a lot of good rallies, but struggled with his normal consistency, this will come as he plays more matches. The #2 doubles team of Jax Anderson and Nicklaus Arndt played well in their match, with most of the games going to the maximum amount of points. The Junior varsity players also played well, with most of them playing in their first high school match. This experience will serve them well as they continue to battle for varsity spots. The Eagles will again be on the court as they host the Jets from Hauser on Thursday at 5 PM. Coach Roush
