Brown County High School

The Girls Track and Field team went down to Brownstown to compete on Tuesday night. Highlights of the night include the 4x800 team of Hadley Gradolf, Madalyn Purlee, Livie Austin and Sadie Hiatt winning the event and setting a season best time of 11:30. The hurdlers, Alli Majors and Alana Johnson came in 2nd and 3rd in the 100m hurdles race. Madalyn Purlee finished in 2nd place and a season best time in the 1600m run. Hadley Gradolf hit her season best of 2:32.5 in the 800 to take 1st place followed by Megan Cumberledge in 2nd. Livie Austin ran her best time in the 3200m by almost a minute going 14:52 and finished in 2nd. In the field events, Lizzie Roush finished 2nd in the shot put, Clare Endris was 3rd in the Discus, Alli Majors was 2nd in the Long Jump and Xyleigh Thompson finished 3rd in the High Jump.
