The Mustangs came away with a 4-1 victory. #2 singles player, freshman Nicklaus Arndt was the lone winner for the Eagles with a hard fought 7-6, 6-2 match. The #1 doubles team of junior Jax Burt and freshman Nolan McFall came within a few shots of making it a 3-2 victory for the Mustangs, but fell short in their comeback bid in the 10 point tie-break. With usual #1 singles player Jax Burt playing at one of the doubles positions, the top spot fell to freshman Bryan Teague to play the conference's best player in Coach Roush's opinion, senior Andrew Paul. To his credit, Bryan did not back down from the challenge and pushed himself to elevate his game in facing a superior player. The Eagles can not rest on their laurels as the have three matches next week, starting on Monday against Trinity Lutheran. Coach Roush
